GENERAL SALES TERMS

General Sales Terms apply to all exclusive, partial and group-reservations in the Baleine Bleue – restaurant.

Reservation in total exclusivity: 100 to 350 people.
Partial reservation: up to 80 people.
The customer commits himself not to invite more than 350 people at the meantime.
In case of a reservation in total exclusivity, the invoice is determined on a minimum basis of 100 people. The final number of people must be confirmed at least one week before the event's date.

Prices

An estimate is given to any demand. A reservation is held for firm as soon as a deposit and a written confirmation have been delivered.

Invoicing

A pro-forma bill is given to the customer as soon as he formally accepts the estimate as well as the terms of payment. The final bill is sent the day after the event and includes eventual extras ordered during the event.

Terms of payment

While you are booking, the Baleine Bleue charges 50 % of the total payment due and the outstanding balance must be paid 24 hours before the event except in case of a special agreement. For extra-orders, figuring on the final bill, must be paid when receiving the bill.

Cancellation policy:

• More than 1 month prior to the scheduled service/event: total reimbursement of the initial deposit,
• 1 month prior to the scheduled: 70% of the deposit is returned to the client,
• Between 1 month and 15 days prior to the booked date: 100 % of the deposit is retained,
• Less than 15 days prior to the event: 70 % of the service becomes payable,
• Less than 15 days before the booked event: the full price becomes payable to the BALEINE BLEUE.

In the event of dispute, the La Rochelle Courts have sole jurisdiction.
